Trauma. Construction work

If it could be legislated
to legislate that no grinder machine should be sold without safety goggles,
I'd be the first one to initiate this law!
The majority of ophthalmologic injuries are sustained during construction and household repairs.

When working with saws, bolt cutters and other tools of this type, from which something can potentially "fly off", it is absolutely necessary to use special protective glasses.

Unfortunately, many patients with eye injuries say that they worked in glasses, and then show ordinary glasses without side protection. With such "protection" any splinter, fragment or scale can get into the eye.

Childhood trauma

Eye trauma in children does not necessarily occur
because of parental inattention at home or on the playground.

Sometimes adults look directly at the child, but the child still manages to get injured. Everything happens so quickly that it is impossible to react.

Alcohol intoxication

Anything that can explode - from firecrackers to battery acid - seems to explode in the hands of a person in this state, and the blast wave throws the fragments right into the eyes.
Under the influence of alcohol, people are unable to adequately calculate their abilities, for which they pay the price with their vision.

Failure to comply with safety precautions and problems with coordination of movements lead to increased risk of injury
